Your new favorite pearlized ball has been hatched to help advance your game in ways you didn’t know you needed. Now some will say, “hey, I’ve seen that core shape before” and to those we say, “yes, yes you have.” BUT what we can also say is that you have never seen this MAXED-OUT version of this core shape before known as Rondure™ MaxD. That’s right, our team of mad scientists in the R&D Lab pushed this core shape to its limits by changing the densities of both the block and the slug on bottom to create the highest RG value and highest Differential value this part has ever seen. From its inception, this mild asymmetric shape was created to emulate the motion of a symmetric core shape with a balance hole in it. Fast forward to this newest version, and well, even though previous models were fantastic, this version is without a doubt the longest and most continuous down lane that we have ever seen.
But it doesn’t stop there, the mad scientists in the R&D Lab also managed to formulate a brand-new nano-free coverstock material during this development and testing process as well. That’s right, the versatile response (V-R1) cover formulation was created to handle a wide range of oil conditions and oil types. From the fresh, to the transition, to the burn, this cover provides easy push through the front of the lane while consistently responding to friction down lane without getting out of control.
So, if you are in the market for a pearlized ball that complements your big strong asymmetrical balls, or if you are needing a pearlized ball that allows you to move deeper on the lane and still comes around the corner, then you must add one of these to your bag. But you don’t have to take our word for it. Try it for yourself, we know you will like it. Oh, and don’t worry, it won’t multiply after midnight if there is oil residue left on the coverstock… Or will it?
Since their conception back in 2016, the Hustle Series of bowling balls has provided outstanding performance above and beyond the retail price. From the 34th sanctioned 900 Series by the Hustle™ INK, to countless TV appearances over the years on both the PBA & PWBA Tours. The various versions of Hustle’s have provided consistent reactions time and time again.
And while the inner Hustle Core has remained the same since day one, it’s the different variations of the VTC™ (Versatile Traction Control) Coverstock – Solid, Pearl & Hybrid, that have kept this line viable on those Light to Medium Oil conditions for every level of bowler from the first timers, all the way up to the pros.

Built for everyone, period. From the casual bowler to Major title winners at the highest level of the sport, the entire Hustle series provides advanced technologies that work for anyone and everyone. So, whether you are looking for a specific reaction to fit in your current arsenal on lighter oil conditions, or looking to get your very first ball, there is a Hustle that is just right for you!
Because different is their middle name, the RG Jester Clear Polyester is here to turn heads and fill frames. This dual-colored red and black beauty is as bold as you are. Let’s be real—no one strikes every time, but when spares are inevitable, why not make a statement while you clear the deck? Built for spare shooting, this clear polyester ball will stay on the path you roll it, whether you drill it to keep the colors separated or create a mesmerizing strobe effect. Simple and boring? Not here. Dare to be different. Dare to make a statement.
After countless months of research and development, and after multiple tests and discussions with players of all skill levels, the Roto Grip ROCKSTAR provides a new motion and reaction for both the competitive player ranks and the advanced player ranks to shred and rock on those Medium to Heavy Oil Conditions.
Offering new state-of-the-art technology in both the coverstock material and weight block shape design, the ROCKSTAR was developed to provide greater versatility on more oil conditions and lane surfaces than previous HP3 level balls since there have been plenty of advancements in the world of lane maintenance and lane surfaces in recent years.
The new NanoStar™ coverstock material is Roto Grip’s latest nanotechnology remix. This union of nano particles mixed with new chemistry provides similar traction in the midlane to that of our legendary MicroTrax™ material. However, the difference you will easily see is that the NanoStar™ material does not dig into the lane as early as MicroTrax™, it generates more responsiveness to friction down lane in terms of nanotechnology materials. In other words, breaking it down a little more for you… NanoStar is not as early as MicroTrax, and it’s not as clean and responsive as our eTrax™, eTrax PLUS™, or eTrax ULTRA™ materials. Therefore, it fills the gap between MicroTrax™ and eTrax™.
Showcased at the center of it all you will find our newly developed weight block shape that is destined for greatness, known as the ROCKER Core. Its authentic shape encapsulated in A.I. Core technology provides a more centralized rotation plane to better provide more continuation through the pin deck. As always, the Roto Grip team of R&D rockstars aim to develop weight block shapes that perform for bowlers of all skill levels not just the ones you see on TV. Meaning, the ROCKER Core is no different, it was designed for the masses. Let’s just say, the combination of amplified power and amplified motion results in sheer amplified awesomeness.
So, if you are indeed ready to rock, then look no further, ROCKSTAR is here and ready to make you famous!
A long time ago in a bowling center far, far away…the world of bowling entered a new level of ball reaction unrest. There were countless oil conditions which added to the complexity of the game. During this revolution very few centers of bowling chose to follow the path of slicker conditions, while the greatest number of centers chose the path of less volume and less length which created more overall friction.
During that time frame, Roto Grip elected to develop bowling orbs that cleared the front of the lane more easily to combat those higher friction conditions and higher friction lane surfaces to better serve the bowling republic.
More recently, however, the cries for help have echoed loudly from all around the bowling galaxy. Those cries for help all requesting greater traction with asymmetrical power to combat and fend off those heavier and longer oil conditions. So, they enlisted the help of our R&D Troops to lead this mission to restore the peace against the oil rebellion.
They wasted little time in tossing their research efforts into HYPERDRIVE to create what was needed for the masses in both the competitive and advanced levels of bowling games. In reviewing their current roster of asymmetric bowling orbs, the team of R&D troopers found that they were in fact in dire need of a more advanced propulsion block encapsulated in our MicroTrax coverstock traction system.
It was determined during this intergalactic review process that the best block to insert into their A.I. Core technology was in fact the RST (Roto Star Tour) block design. The combination of this singular density asymmetric shape encapsulated inside of an A.I. Core created an ideal amount of accelerated spin and torque thus leading to greater propulsion, thus resulting in the name HYPERDRIVE being given to this beautiful galactic bowling orb.
So, as you find yourself battling the sinister lane man at your local bowling establishment, may you find yourself at peace with the assistance of the HYPERDRIVE to combat and destroy those heavier and longer oil conditions.
Roto Grip RST Hyperdrive Pearl Bowling Ball Features:
The RST Hyperdrive Pearl is a pearl asymmetric option that designed for medium to medium/heavy oil conditions.
The ball is finished with Power Edge
Core: RST + A.I. Core – Same proven core that was used in the solid.
Coverstock: U-R1 Pearl Reactive – NEW pearlized reactive coverstock. It’s nano-free that creates ULTRA response to friction down lane.
This combination of Core & Cover generates ease of push through the front of the lane, while providing a strong, responsive, and continuous move at the breakpoint making it ideal for all styles of bowler from a variety of angles on
