The Top Thrill line is developed for premium performance on dry lanes.
The Halogen V2 core returns for these two Top Thrills as it is perfect for performance in light oil. It combines a slow-spinning high RG core for easy length and a lower differential to provide 2-3 inches of track flare potential. The moderately low differential allows for a clear progression within the MOTIV product line, stepping down from balls intended for medium-dry lanes.
The Top Thrill Hybrid utilizes Turmoil XP2 Hybrid coverstock, which a higher performance option than the original Turmoil XP used previously in the Top Thrill line. As a result, bowlers will see more traction in the mid lane with greater down lane motion.
Charming. Enchanting. Mesmerizing. Call it what you will, but we prefer to call this wonderous and mystical jewel the Magic GEM. After months and months of mixing spell after spell in the R&D Lab, we managed to conjure up one the most prolific hybrid high performance balls we have ever offered thanks to the powers of both the MicroTrax Solid and MicroTrax Pearl components brewed together to form the MicroTrax Hybrid Coverstock. So, if you are looking to put a hex on your adversaries, might we interest you with this powerful magical bowling stone. Trust us when we say, this isn’t just a bunch of hocus pocus.
Our history has led up to where we are now. Absolute combines over 20 years of proven and trusted technology.
In most cases, an extra slug, or weighted disk, is needed to create enhanced dynamics, but the evenly weighted masses at both ends of the Sentinel Core upgrades this effect more than a single slug ever could. This ensures the Absolute will change direction and continue through the pins better and more consistently. This is the first single-density asymmetric core in the Storm line since the Lucid. The R&D team has also reduced the amount of weight block mass near the area where the thumb hole is typically placed. The inward angled edges increase the intermediate differential prior to drilling and allows the dynamic integrity to be preserved after drilling because the thumb hole misses the weight block. The extra intermediate differential makes the Absolute respond to friction on the lane more effectively and won’t miss the spot.
The Tensor Core forms a multi-dimensional array with a uniform type that creates opposing torque forces on an asymmetric map. The product resembles a stronger, more powerful symmetric core model that blends the line between top-drawer asymmetric and the more traditional symmetric approach thanks to a modest touch of asymmetry between the Y and Z axes. This is a unique concept in the Storm line will fit the needs of many. No balance hole? No problem. Pro shop operators can drill the Tensor Core like they used to with intent to put a flare-increasing hole in a specific spot. The slim intermediate differential accomplishes the same feat without any extra effort. R4S has the highest reactivity of any Reactor™ series cover and bridges the gap between mid-range Thunder™ Line and high-end Premier™ Line balls. Being a hybrid formulation, users can expect a wide array of benefits to be found on a multitude of conditions.
Enter, the Ion Pro. This is the first asymmetric benchmark ball ever designed by Storm Bowling and will be the new standard of reliability. A benchmark ball is designed to provide a balanced performance across different lane conditions. This ball is designed to allow bowlers to adjust their game without switching to a different ball. Quite simply, it’s made for players of every style from any angle. Every bowler should have this in their bag.
The stacked ellipse design of the Element Tour A.I. Core places the smaller ellipses towards the ends of the X-Axis and the widest ellipse at the center of the Y-Axis. Conceptually opposite to cavity designs featured in the Crux™ and Absolute™, the Element Tour A.I. Core dynamics will change more between different layouts with this shape because of it. This center heavy concept places the largest ellipse in the geographic center of the ball. More mass towards the center lowers the RG and, in conjunction with the A.I. Core, makes the Element weight block one of the lowest RG asymmetrical designs Storm has ever had. Normally on asymmetric weight blocks, the thinnest portion creating the asymmetry is very close to the Y-Axis. Stairstep asymmetry is the opposite of that. The widest part is at the Y-Axis which would normally decrease asymmetry, but each subsequent ellipse is offset and skinnier than the previous one which creates asymmetry with each stairstep.
Officially, this is Storm’s strongest symmetric ball to date. Starting on the inside, the Centripetal HD weight block is surrounded by the ALL-NEW A.I. (Amplified Inertia) outer core. This new combination drives the RG down and the differential up ensuring this ball spins up fast and a lot! Paired with the TX-23 Hybrid Cover, the Summit provides enhanced oil absorption for even better grip on those slick conditions. Once you get one in your hands it’ll be tough to get it out.
If you’re a fan of the Hy-Road™, get ready to fall in love with The Road™, now enhanced with Amplified Inertia! For 15 years, the Hy-Road™ has reigned as the go-to choice for premium performance, earning its place as the most esteemed ball in Storm history. Now, experience the fusion of benchmark reliability and A.I. Core Technology in The Road™, designed to harmonize with a wide array of styles and tackle any oil pattern with ease.
