Engineering the “Tour” Motion

We didn’t just tweak the original; we re-engineered the DNA of the Gremlin series to favor control and versatility.

    • The Rondure™ TOUR-X Core: By meticulously adjusting the densities of the original Rondure™ MaxD Core, we’ve lowered both the RG and the Differential. This creates a more stable, centered energy displacement that prevents the ball from overreacting at the breakpoint.
    • V-R1™ Hybrid Coverstock: This proven hybrid shell offers the perfect “middle ground” traction. It provides enough teeth to handle oil while maintaining the cleanliness needed to clear the front of the lane.
    • 4000-Abralon® Finish: Sanded to a smooth 4000-grit, the TOUR-X offers a matte finish that reads the mid-lane early enough to be predictable, but late enough to retain maximum energy for the pocket.

    After countless months of research and development, and after multiple tests and discussions with players of all skill levels, the Roto Grip ROCKSTAR provides a new motion and reaction for both the competitive player ranks and the advanced player ranks to shred and rock on those Medium to Heavy Oil Conditions.

    Offering new state-of-the-art technology in both the coverstock material and weight block shape design, the ROCKSTAR was developed to provide greater versatility on more oil conditions and lane surfaces than previous HP3 level balls since there have been plenty of advancements in the world of lane maintenance and lane surfaces in recent years.

    The new NanoStar™ coverstock material is Roto Grip’s latest nanotechnology remix.
